Crossroads and Drawbridges

Our Drawbridge Games Crossroads of Courage campaign is in full steam. Check out photos from the weeks below and the results of our play through the seasons.

Season One Recap and Standings:

Reapers came down to a horse race on week 4, with Andy and Roger both making great headway and tying for the final week’s Fate point. With equal Fate points, it came down to regular points to break the tie–and Roger won. On the Sowers side, Colton pretty much ran away with the victory with a whopping three out of four Fate points. As for Reapers versus Sowers, the Sowers gathered many more points throughout the event, scoring points 49 compared to the Reaper’s 28 points.

Note that the scores for each week are number of points (from battles won plus achievements) before the slash and Fate points (for being top point-getter that week for the faction) after the slash.

Holden Conversions:

Part of this campaign is converting up a Holden the Last model to be a part of your forces, so I wanted to highlight the Holdens who were converted up for the first phase of our campaign.

Andy’s Holden the Last, fitting with his wasteland-theme Cygnar force.

Adam’s Holden the Last. This Holden grew a beard fast, no doubt because of the cold winters wandering with Adam’s forces of Legion of Everblight. Tho maybe it’s to hide the shards…

This is my Holden the Last. You can’t see it too well in this picture, but he’s got a Menofix insignia shoulderpad on his left arm, as he’s taken the faith in my version of his story.

Terrain Building:

I wanted to show off the awesome terrain building that people have done so far as part of the campaign. Keep it going!

terrain-creations-1

Colton’s excellent burning ash markers, that actually glow. Amon Ad-Raza for scale.

Adam’s absolutely gorgeous mine entrance (I mean, look at that thing. Wow!). And Colton’s dynamite crates. They killed three Choir of Menoth models in one of my games, so it was “fun” having them on the table.

I also took photos of the awesome mine entrance and bandit tower that Roger built, but cannot find them for the life of me (and will update with them when I get a chance).

Season One Battles:

Dan’s Retribution squares off against Andy’s Cygnar, with Holden standing bravely against two heavy Ret warjacks.

Andy’s Cygnar horsemen race into the thick of Terry’s Protectorate infantry.

On a field blown with snow and limited line of sight, the glow of flares lit the battle between Colton’s Khador and Roger’s Circle.

Adam’s Legion of Everblight tries to whittle down Dan’s advancing Retribution forces as the two exchange ranged attacks.

A clash for the fate of the Motherland, as Brandon’s Khador (in the background, spread out) battles Colton’s Khador (hugging the edge of the table).

Ryan’s Black Ogrun boarding party stares into the towering might of my warjack-heavy Amon list.

Ryan’s Captain Aiakos drives his Warjacks far ahead into the support staff of Brad’s Skorne.

Brad’s Skorne gunline tries to shoot down Andy’s Stryker2 force before they can crash into his lines.

Roger’s pair of Circle werewolves prepare to weather the storm of Adam’s Legion shooting.

It’s villains vs villains as Adam’s Legion of Everblight attempt to stop the undead menace presented by Scott’s Cryx.
